If you own a Xioami Mi 6 and interested to try the latest Android 8.0 Oreo on it before public get it, here are requirements for joining the MIUI Android Oreo Global Beta program and application dead line. Any users can apply for the beta program and there is no region restriction, but you should apply before 26, December 2017.
Apart from Mi 6 Oreo Beta, Xiaomi is also recruiting MIUI Global Beta ROM testers for Redmi Note 5A and Redmi Note 5A Prime (in India these devices are called Redmi Y1 Lite and Redmi Y1 respectively). However, it seems that the Beta program for these devices will be based on MIUI 9 Nougat. Below are the pre-requisites for participating in the Mi 6 Oreo Global Beta program. You need to input IMEI numbers along with reason for application.
How to Participate Mi 6 Android Oreo Global Beta Program
- To join the beta program, install Xiaomi MIUI Forum app from Play store or downloading the APK from here.
- Open the app and on the Homepage, select Recruitment.
