Mi A1 Android 8.0 Oreo Beta comes with December 2017 patches and the OTA update weighs around 1GB. Oreo brings various new features like Auto-fill, Picture in Picture (PIP), UI changes, better battery life, quick boot, Background limits, Adaptive icons and much more. If everything went fine, all users will get the stable Oreo update soon.

Thanks to XDA member ‘rameshurfrnd1’, the developer shared TWRP backup of Mi A1 Android Oreo Beta. Tech-savvy users can restore this backup on their device and experience new features. The process is risky, so inexperienced users should not try it. There is no need to say that your Mi A1 should have latest version TWRP recovery installed. If not, follow this guide. Note: Backup all important data before proceeding. To go back to stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat on your MiA1, you should download and install the fastboot ROM.
