If you are excited to know what the new operating system offers, then you can download and install the Android Q beta 2 (developer preview 2) on your OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. However, OnePlus warns that the beta builds are for developers and early adopters only. In addition, this build includes the following known issues.

Reading mode doesn’t work Display mode doesn’t work The verification window can’t pop up in WIFI anonymous connection Low probability of having stability issues

The stable release of Android 10 is expected to be rolled out from August and of course, Google Pixel devices will get it first. OnePlus 7 series device will get the stable Android 10 update by December 2019.

Installation

You can download and install Android Q beta 2 on OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro via Local upgrade method. Keep in mind that you may run into issues or brick your device, if you don’t have experience with flashing ROMs manually on your OnePlus device.
