The updated JavaScript engine and the ability to decode JPEG files and render text using the GPU (graphic processor) make IE11 to display webpages more quickly on your screen. Microsoft claims that the performance improvements included in IE11 makes it 30% faster than other browsers. Also, it delivers around 9 percent faster performance than its predecessor IE 10 and 5 percent faster than the Developer Preview build of IE11.
