Previously, I have published a tutorial on how to see flash content with Dolphin Browser on Android 4.4. KitKat, and now, you can use Firefox browser for Android to view flash based videos. The Firefox 27 lets you install flash player as a plugin. Here is how it is.

  1. Install Firefox browser (version 27) for Android from the Google Play Store
  2. Next, download and install an older version of flash player apk (download from here) or a modified flash player (download from here). Both should work!
  3. Now, go to Firefox settings and under Display settings, enable the plugins. That’s it!

Please note that, flash content will be visible only on desktop version of webpages. Some websites recognize you are browsing from mobile device and block flash contents, so you need to load the desktop version manually to correctly display the flash content. To do so, you can use Phony plugin for Firefox. Phony plugin for Firefox adds a user-agent switcher to the Firefox menu, so you can view desktop or mobile sites by masquerading as Android, or desktop browser.
