Spatial audio enhances stereo audio on your phone to bring an experience of surround sound without the requirement for surround sound speakers. You can hear the audio coming from your back, front, or all around you from your headphone or earbuds when streaming movies and music from supported services. Spatial audio with head tracking is only available on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series phones with Pixel Buds Pro. However, with January 2023 update for Android 13, the static Spatial audio feature is available on the Pixel 4, Pixel 5, Pixel 6, and Pixel 7 series phones with wired headphone. How to Turn on Spatial Audio on Google Pixel Phone?
- First, update your Pixel phone to the latest version by going to Settings > System > System update.
- Next, open the Settings app and tap on the Sound & Vibration option.
- On the Sound & Vibration settings page, tap on Spatial Audio and turn on the Wired headphones option.
- To enable Spatial Audio for Bluetooth/wireless devices, tap the Connect device settings option.
- On the next page, tap the cog icon next to your connected device and turn on Spatial audio. You can also turn on the Head Tracking feature from the Connect device settings page if you own a Pixel Buds Pro. But it requires Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series devices and the latest firmware update.
