Sign into your Gmail account and click the Gear like icon (shown on the right top of the screen) and click “Configure inbox”. A popup window will appear asking you to choose desired tabs.

Primary, Social and Promotions tabs are checked by default and if you wish, you can choose other two options (updates and forums) as well. Once you checked your options click “Save” button to save your settings. Now, your e-mails will be organized among the tabs. You can also move e-mails between tabs by just clicking and dragging.
