Android 8.1 Oreo based Resurrection Remix Oreo build (RR-O-v6.0.0) is available for many devices. OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 2, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, HTC One M8, Yu Yureka, etc. are most popular devices among them. Tech-savvy users can easily install the build on their device via TWRP custom recovery.

The status of the ROM is nightly, so the build might contain several bugs that are not yet identified. If you are excited to tryout the Android Oreo on your handset, just follow the installation instruction. Pre-requests for installing custom ROM on Yu Yureka: a) Requires latest version of TWRP installed on the handset. b) The device should be charged fully to avoid any break down during the installation process. c) Make a Nandroid back in TWRP recovery.

Custom ROM installation Instruction

  1. Download RR-O-v6.0.0-20180213-tomato-Official.zip from here and save it your phone.
  2. Download Android 8.1 compatible Gapps zip file from here and save it on your phone.
  3. Boot Yu Yureka into TWRP (Switch off, press and hold Volume Down & Power Button together)
  4. In TWRP, back up your system (select Back up option).
  5. Now wipe data, cache and system (select Wipe option)
  6. Install ROM zip file and then install Gapps zip file (select Install option).
