OnePlus starts rolling out the OxygenOS Open Beta 17/15 OTA update, which weighs around 194MB. As always, the OTA rollout is incremental, so it will take few hours or even few days to reach the OTA on all OnePlus 5 and 5T running on the Open Beta channel. You can use the Oxygen Updater app to get the update early.

Keep in mind that since this is a beta OS, it is possible you will run into bugs and other instabilities.
How to Install OxygenOS Open Beta on OnePlus 5 and 5T
Note: It requires a full install and clean flash, so backup important data on the phone.
- Download OxygenOS Open Beta zip file from above link and transfer it to internal storage of your device.
- Reboot the phone in to stock Recovery (press Power + Volume Down buttons after switching off the phone).
- In recovery, wipe Cache.
- Now, choose “Install from internal storage” find your .zip file and flash it.
- Your device will reboot automatically after installing the OS. Note that, once you migrate to OxygenOS open beta you will not get official OTA for stable release. You will need to manually flash the stable update to get stable OTA update. Source)
