OnePlus is always been quick with rolling out latest update for their flagship devices. It has been only a week since the company released the second OxygenOS Open Beta for OnePlus 6 with Wi-Fi connection stability, optimized background power consumption control and more. Now, Open Beta 3 is here and features the following.

What’s new in OxygenOS Open Beta 3? Not that, there are some known issues in this build. Some applications may not work as expected. In addition, Google Pay service is not working.

Download and Install OxygenOS Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 6

If you have not received the OxygenOS Open Beta 3 OTA notification yet on the device, you can use the Oxygen Updater app to get the update right now without waiting for the OTA. Alternatively, you can download Download OxygenOS Open Beta 3 full update package (1.5GB) from here or from here and flash it manually as described below.

For OnePlus 6 runs stable OxygenOS (Android 8.1 Oreo)

  1. Download the OxygenOS Open Beta 3 ROM zip file from above link and transfer it your phone’s storage.
  2. Open the ‘Settings’ app, then go to ‘System updates’, and then tap on the top right corner icon.
  3. In the menu, tap on Local upgrade, then choose the upgrade package and then immediately upgrade.
  4. System will start the upgrade process. Once done, select Reboot system now. Your phone will reboot into Android 9 Pie. (Source)
