Recently Facebook has integrated WOT (Web Of Trust) – a community-powered reputation ratings tool to its platform. Each link shared on Facebook will be reviewed by WOT and warn if the link is spam or contains some sort of Malware. On the other hand, Clickjacking is another Facebook security issue. Certain malicious websites contain code that can make your browser take action without your knowledge or consent. For example, clicking on a link on malicious site might cause the website to be posted to your Facebook profile. Don’t click on strange links, even if they’re from friends. For an added security, Facebook has also implemented the Two-factor authentication system, which requires entering a code that you received as SMS.
