The system-wide dark mode is a feature of Android 10, but Xiaomi deploys it well in Android 9 devices. The dark mode in Redmi Note 8/Note 8 Pro will turn many system apps and system UI elements into a true dark or dark gray from the blinding white, but not all apps are supports. To enable dark mode in Redmi Note 8/Note 8 Pro, go to Settings > tap on Display > and tap on the Dark Mode toggle to turn on it.
