As you may know, a preview version of video messaging feature is already available on Skype for Mac, iPhone, Android and Windows Phone and will be available soon on Skype Windows 8 app. Recording and sending video messages is simple. Just right click the contact that you want to send video message and select the video message option from the context menu. Note that, this feature will require Flash. Also, the beta version of Skype for Windows desktop with Video Messaging in preview may not be available in all markets.
Though not much information are available about this feature, reports reveals that the video message will be saved for 90 days in the cloud. In addition, one can send 3 minutes length (max) 25 messages per month for free. Skype Beta (6.5) can be downloaded (29MB) from here. It’ll install Skype click to Call and makes Bing as your search engine and MSN as homepage. So don’t forget to uncheck these options while installing this beta version. (Via)
