The LineageOS 15.1, based on the Android 8.1 Oreo now supports following devices. Redmi 4, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra are the newly added devices in the list. LineageOS is one of the most popular custom ROMs available today (former CyanogenMod). A main advantage of this custom ROM is that it updates many devices to the newer version of Android OS even before the manufacturer has officially made available. The development team dropped support for more than 30 devices. This is because of ROM maintainers for the particular devices are absent or not interested in maintaining them anymore.
