How to install CM14.1 (Android 7.1.1) on Xiaomi Mi4i

  1. Download CM14.1 (Ferrari) (cm-14.1-20161222-UNOFFICIAL-ferrari.zip) from here/source. Also, download Android 7.1 compatible Gapps package from here.
  2. Transfer both zip files to your device’s SD card.
  3. Turn off your phone and boot into TWRP recovery by pressing Power + Volume Down buttons together.
  4. In TWRP, perform a full wipe (cache, dalvik cache, data/factory reset) by selecting ‘Wipe’ option.
  5. Now, flash CM14.1 zip file and Gapps zip file. To do so, select ‘Install’, navigate to ROM zip file and swipe to confirm flash. Repeat the same for Gapps as well.
