Huawei Honor 4/4X was launched in 2014, so the chance for getting an official Android 7.0 Nougat update is very rare, though the phone is capable of. However, if you are excited to experience the Android 7.1.1 Nougat on your Honor 4X, then the best alternative is MoKee 7.1 official custom ROM.

In this guide, we explain how to install MoKee 7.1 (Android 7.1.1 Nougat) on Huawei Honor 4/4X (code named cherry). However, we remind you that the present status of the ROM is Nightly, which means the ROM is experimental and may have several bugs. Note: To get MoKee 7.1 (official) running on your Honor 4/4X, you will need root access and latest version of TWRP custom recovery installed on it.
