How to Install Android 8.1 Oreo AOSP ROM on Moto G4 Plus

  1. Download AOSP Android 8.1 Oreo Custom ROM [here] [development page] and Gapps [here] on to your phone.
  2. Boot to TWRP mode (press Volume Down & Power buttons simultaneously after switch off the phone).
  3. Once entering the TWRP settings menu, select Wipe > Advanced wipe > and wipe data, cache and dalvik cache, and then perform factory reset.
  4. Now, select Install, select the ROM zip from SD card and flash it. Flash GApps zip file as well. Then reboot your phone.
