Resurrection Remix is one of the popular custom ROMs available today. The custom ROM upgrades many old and new phones to latest Android 8.1 Oreo. The latest build (RR-O-v6.1.0) bring several new features, various gestures, animations, and many more. You can tweak most part of the system to make your phone unique.

If you own a Yureka Black and want to upgrade it to Android 8.1 Oreo, then you can download latest version of Resurrection Remix (RR-O-v6.1.0) ROM zip file and install via TWRP. Check out the installation guide. Before jump into the installation, keep in mind that the status of RR-O-v6.1.0 ROM is nightly, which means it is nearly stable and can be used as daily driver.   1. Unlocked bootloader on Yureka Black (guide)
  2. Latest version of TWRP recovery installed on the phone (guide)
  3. Latest version of Resurrection Remix custom ROM (download)
  4. Android 8.1 Oreo compatible Gapps (download)

How to Install Resurrection Remix on Yureka Black

  1. Transfer ROM and Gapps zip files to your phone’s internal storage.
  2. Bboot your phone into TWRP
  3. In TWRP recovery, choose ‘Backup’ and create a system backup.
  4. Now, choose ‘Wipe’ > Advanced Wipe and wipe Cache, System and Data partitions.
  5. Once done, choose ‘Install’ > navigate to ROM zip file and flash it. Once done, flash Gapps zip file as well and then reboot. The first boot will take 5 to 10 minutes. Need help? let us know in the comment below.
